What is the best Brinsea incubator? There are a few questions you should ask yourself to ensure you choose the best incubator for your eggs. How many eggs do you want to incubate? Are you looking to incubate different types of poultry? The Brinsea incubators range can incubate a number of feathered friends including quail, pheasant, hen, duck, turkey, goose eggs and more. If you are new to egg incubation and only looking to incubate a few eggs at one time, then opt for a mini model. If you are looking for something a little more advanced our new Maxi 24 Chick Incubator will allow you to mix and match your eggs so different sizes and species can be incubated at the same time.

Do you know how to use a Brinsea incubator? Are you happy to turn your eggs by hand or would you rather opt for automatic turning? Eggs need to be turned at least three to five times a day to mimic the way a mother hen treats her eggs. It’s extremely important for a chick’s breathing and to stop membranes from sticking together. Automatic egg turning continuously turns the eggs backwards and forwards and enables you to keep the incubator closed to maintain a proper temperature and humidity resulting in happy and healthy chicks every time.

Once your chicks have hatched it’s crucial to keep them warm in the first few days and weeks. EcoGlow chick brooders are perfect for keeping chicks, poultry or game warm. They are far more efficient than infrared lamps and run on a 12-volt mains transformer making them much safer too. The adjustable legs match chicks of different sizes from quail to goose making them a very cost-effective product to have after hatching.

So, are Brinsea incubators worth the money? Here at Chelford Farm Supplies, we have been using the Brinsea range in-store for many years, giving each model a real run for its money and every hatching has been a success. If you are planning to incubate eggs frequently, Brinsea will help provide healthy chicks while you’re left with peace of mind and a happy hatching experience every time.
