Current Job Vacancies:

Job title: Warehouse Operative

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm, plus Saturdays when required

Role & Responsibilities

  • Check delivered goods against delivery notes for damaged or missing item upon receipt and unload goods into Warehouse
  • Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the Warehouse
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with fork lift truck
  • Ensure that no goods come in or go out of the Warehouse without the relevant paperwork
  • Carry out weekly stock checks and identify stock discrepancies and low stock
  • Help keep the Warehouse clean and tidy to ensure that goods don't get damaged
  • Load goods into customer vehicles 

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Ensure the customer always comes first
  • Work well within a team
  • May be required to drive company vehicles
  • Must have a clean driving license and a fork lift truck license

Job title: Home & Garden Sales Advisor

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm, plus alternate Saturdays

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serving customers, giving advice and processing orders verbally or over the telephone
  • Ensure that the shop floor is kept clean and tidy and displays are priced and well stocked
  • Processing and checking deliveries to ensure that there are no discrepancies or damages to stock
  • Provide the Workshop with ad-hoc support this will include general tidying, delivering and collecting garden machinery (clean full drivers license required), and operating small machinery from time to time

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service role
  • Have excellent customer service skills, email and phone manner
  • Have good time management
  • Must have a background/experience in a similar industry
  • Have excellent computer keyboard skills
  • Be able to work to high standard and be accurate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Be flexible and willing to help out in other departments as necessary
