The Husqvarna Large Splitting Axe is best suited for splitting thicker wood and your fire wood. The head is designed to go easily into the wood. With minimal effort by the chopper, the log splits effortlessly into two parts. The long wooden handle of the Husqvarna Large Splitting Axe creates extra power and has plenty of space for a two handed grip. The head is attached to the handle using both a wooden and a steel wedge to ensure a secure fastening. A high quality leather edge cover comes as standard with all our Husqvarna axes.
