The Portek Charger 8.5 Ton Impact Log Splitter is the fastest log-splitter on the market today! The new Charger Log Splitter is an updated model from the popular Portek Quick-Split Log Splitter, and this new version has an improved 8.5 ton impact.

Utilising kinetic energy, the Portek Charger splits logs in an instant and has a cycle time of less than one second – we challenge you to find a faster log splitter! The Charger works as fast as you do and hits logs with high impact to cut them quickly and safely.

The Portek Charger Log Splitter is an extremely fast, powerful and portable machine that features a convenient handle, strong chassis and wheels so that the Log Splitter can easily be positioned on flat ground. The Charger includes two large spinning flywheels, which are powered by a 1.5kw electric motor and drive the powerful ram with a force of 8.5 tonnes.

When using the Portek Charger Log Splitter, two hands are needed for the release mechanism; one to engage the drive mechanism and the other to release the ram, which then quickly springs back ready for the next log. The Charger has a heavy duty steel guard which ensures you are safe from the machine’s mechanics, and also features a safety stop next to the handles for extra-fast stopping if necessary.

The Portek Charger 8.5 Ton Impact Log Splitter is the only impact log splitter available that is compliant with CE standards. For best results, use alongside the Portek Logmaster Heavy Duty Sawhorse.

The Portek Charger Log Splitter has a 12 month warranty.
